About Me

Throughout high school and college, I worked several different jobs where I managed others, managed rental properties and was responsible for driving profitability. I even started a small landscaping venture on the side of my job with a friend to help pay for college.

I worked full time the last two years of school which allowed me to pay for it as I went and graduate without any debt. I figured if I could handle both school and work full time, I could certainly manage to start some sort of business once I graduated.

I started reading different books on investing, entrepreneurship, etc. and I stumbled across Rich Dad Poor Dad. Reading that book was the “lightbulb” moment that started my real estate career.

I was 21 when I read RDPD and within a few months, I started buying rental properties via house hacking with a simple duplex in Parma, OH.

I moved to CO at 22 and bought another house (while keeping the duplex as a traditional rental) that I lived in, while renting out all of the extra bedrooms.

At that point, I realized if I wanted to buy a substantial amount of rental real estate, I needed to figure out how to scale my income. I had a sales job within the recruiting industry that allowed me to make a middle-class income, but it was clear that I needed to start some sort of active business.

I had been attending a local real estate meetup where I met an older investor who had been in the land and development space for 40+ years. Every weekend, I would drive an hour south to Pueblo West, CO, and help him in his business, learning the basics of building homes and sourcing land off-market (this was late 2018). I began sourcing the lots myself and helping with the new builds, furthering my understanding of the process.

Over time, I became more and more confident in my ability to make money via the land and development business, so I quit my recruiting job in the Summer of 2019 and officially started Front Range Land LLC. In addition, I was still renting out the rooms in my personal house, which covered nearly all of my living expenses.

In the subsequent years, I have done hundreds of land deals all across the country, 12+ new construction projects, and own a couple dozen rental units.

What began as a means to escape a traditional job has evolved into a full-blown land and development business. Having bought/sold, assigned, financed, and built on hundreds of pieces of land across the country, I’ve gained unique insight into the industry and am continuing to learn as I go.

The opportunity within the space is hard to overstate. Consequently, I’m continuing to build my business to capitalize on that opportunity.

Outside of work, you’ll find me on a mountain or in the ocean, snowboarding, surfing, hiking, biking, etc. I’m also an avid reader of all things history, science, and especially combinations of the two.
